Strategic Thinking & Planning
|
Learn how to understand the big picture, 'connect the dots', and make the best possible decisions |
Much research has been directed at the question: “what makes a good leader?” It turns out that while very different kinds of individuals are able to lead successfully, the ability to think and plan strategically is the attribute most highly correlated with leadership effectiveness. The reason that many “fixes” applied to business problems do not work or cause even bigger problems is often a failure to understand the complex cause and effect relationships that are at play.
This workshop teaches participants how to analyse business problems in all their complexity, as well as how to use a structured framework to develop actionable plans in a group or individual setting. The material covered is brought alive by having participants work on their own case studies throughout.
Results You Can Expect
- Ability to understand the complex cause and effect relationships that drive most business problems.
