Leadership Simulation
Leadership Simulation is an action-packed and practical way to learn about leadership and the competencies that are important to your organization’s success.
Kwela’s leadership simulation places participants into teams that must collaborate to achieve a common goal. As they do so, the simulation reproduces many of the challenges that participants face back on the job including the need to:
- Provide strategic direction.
- Optimize teams.
- Manage relationships between teams.
- Communicate consistently.
- Hold others accountable for results.
By working together to meet their goals, participants learn interactively about effective leadership and experience a depth of learning that goes well beyond that of traditional role playing. Key benefits include a deeper appreciation of how teams and individuals respond under pressure, better cross-functional empathy and a heightened self awareness of their own strengths and weaknesses as leaders.
Leadership simulation works equally well for cross-functional groups and intact teams and can be delivered standalone or through a Leadership Development or Team Optimization program. In fact, it can be an excellent way of kicking off these types of programs.
